What We Do
We provide Early Detection of skin cancer using Digital AI Mole Mapping and Dermoscopy technology.
Utilizing an advanced computerized mole mapping system, our team conducts thorough screenings for skin cancer by meticulously identifying and tracking every mole on your body's surface. This process, completed within minutes, serves as a vital safeguard for your well-being.
If any suspicious lesions are identified, we will perform detailed analysis using digital dermoscopy. If our doctor believes there is a risk of the lesion being cancerous, then a follow up or biopsy will be scheduled - all part of the service. If a biopsy is not required, all moles and skin lesions will be monitored on subsequent scans for even the smallest change over time using our mole mapping technology.
Our scans are painless and entirely safe, not using any radiation or any need for injections.

For individuals with sun exposure or a family history of skin cancer, this technology becomes an indispensable tool for proactive health management.

Did you know?
More than two thirds of all melanoma develop on healthy skin and not from already existing moles. For optimal safety, it is important to track the entire skin in addition to individual moles.
The advantages of the computer-assisted Automated Total Body Mapping (ATBM) procedure are obvious: This allows entire skin documentation during regular check-ups. Every visit, new photos can be compared to past sessions allowing the visualization of every change at the earliest possible stage

A “map” of your skin: Automated Total Body Mapping
During the examination, we first take overview pictures of your skin. Imagine your skin as a landscape. Automated Total Body Mapping (ATBM) captures the entire skin surface in order to detect any changes overtime. We use the high-tech FotoFinder system to create a “body map” of your moles and take photographs of your body systematically –from head to toe and all sides – within a few minutes. With the help of the built in FotoFinder Artificial Intelligence, our trained operators can obtain a full evaluation of new or changed lesions instantly during your checkup. With this revolutionary software, you can be assured your data will be safe, secure and confidential.

Early diagnosis with leading technology: Video dermoscopy
We then use the video dermatoscope to take microscopic images of atypical moles, clearly showing the pattern and structures which can be pre-assessed and analyzed. The digital storage of your skin images enables an objective comparison of previous and current skin findings during regular check-ups so that we can visualize even the smallest of changes.
How to Prepare
When you arrive, you will be greeted and checked in by our friendly staff. Once you are called on, you will be moved to the scanning room where our expert will walk you through the steps of the session. The process is most effective when your entire body surface is visible, so you will be asked to disrobe for the scan. While being fully disrobed will work best, wearing undergarments that reveal as much skin as possible is an option if that is more comfortable. Any moles that are hidden behind very thick hair may not be picked up by the scan, so it is recommended to shave these areas prior to your visit.
The entire process takes only a few minutes, and is completely pain free. The scan is also extremely safe, with no radiation being used and nothing being injected into your body.

If any suspicious lesions are found the doctor will schedule a biopsy as required. Our clinic works with oncologists and specialists across the province, and if cancer is diagnosed our doctors will facilitate a referral.
Once your images are completed and reviewed, we can then book your follow up appointment. Typically, we suggest a mole scan every 6-12 months. However, if you are a high risk patient (see if you are at risk here), then you may opt to undergo a full scan every 3 months. Our system will allow you to book follow-up scans up to a year ahead of time.
